My name is Lisa Marie and I am twenty seven years old. I started this photoblog in August 2006. I wanted a place to display my photos and wanted to do so in a unique way. This may not be the most unique display out there, but it's mine and I worked very hard to try and come up with something different.

My interest in photography started sometime in 2002. That year I purchased a few digital cameras. Nothing fancy. I experimented a bit, but I felt I couldn't really learn anything until I got myself a better camera. Shortly after my son was born my husband bought me the Canon PowerShot A85. I used that camera for the next two years. Until my husband bought me the Canon EOS 400D Digital in early 2007. It was my dream camera. It's much different from what I'm used to, but I love experimenting with it. I learn something new every time I use my camera.

I'm not sure if I'm alone in this or not, but I decided to name my camera. I named my camera Jack. After the super cool Jack Bauer of course. Jack goes wherever I go. Yes, it's true love.
